Purpose Display the history of garbage collection activity recorded against billing points, including completed and missed collections.

The Garbage History page provides a record of collection activity performed against garbage billing points.

It helps users track when a collection took place, whether it was completed or missed, and who performed it.

What You Can Do

From this page you can:

  • View collection history
  • Search by Billing Point
  • Filter by date
  • Filter by collection status
  • Filter by user
  • Review historical collection activity

The page consists of:

Filters

Use the filters to locate specific collection records.

FilterDescription
Date FromBeginning of the search period
Date ToEnd of the search period
Billing Point IDFilter by Billing Point identifier
Performed ByUser who recorded the collection
StatusCollected or Missed

Select Clear to remove all filters.

Collection History Register

Each row represents a collection event recorded against a billing point.

The register displays:

StatusCollected or Missed
Performed ByUser who recorded the collection
DateDate and time of the collection

What is Recorded?

The history may include events such as:

  • Collection completed
  • Collection missed
  • Collection rescheduled
  • Billing point created
  • Customer reassigned
  • Service information updated

Each event is recorded automatically.

Empty State

If no records match the selected filters, the system displays:

No collection history found

This may occur because:

  • No collections have been recorded yet.
  • The selected filters returned no results.
  • The Billing Point has no recorded history.

Expected Behaviour

The system should:

  • Display collection history in chronological order.
  • Apply filters immediately after searching.
  • Record all collection activity automatically.
  • Show the user who performed each action.
  • Retain historical records even if the billing point changes.

Business Rules

  • Every collection event is recorded automatically.
  • Historical records cannot be edited.
  • Historical records cannot be deleted.
  • Only authorised users can view collection history.
